Ballet is the foundation of all styles of dance. This style builds strength, balance and elegance. In each class there is an emphasises on grace, body alignment and classical dance vocabulary.
For our advanced ballet dancers who can demonstrate proper alignment, discipline and strength (to mention a few requirements). Students have to complete a year of pre-pointe before they will be allowed to get their shoes. This is a very exciting goal for a lot of our ballet dancers.
We break an hour of dance class up into two 30 minute sections. Tap really helps to develop timing and more intracare coordination, as well as working with others to create a sound. Ballet let's dancers move more freely while building beginning ballet technique.
Where our youngest dancers start their dance training at the age of 3! Dancers have fun while gaining independency and skill. These young dancers will learn musicality, coordination and the beginning basics of ballet.
In this class students will learn and improve on flexibility, strength and control. Learn tricks and stunts, then knit them together with dance choreography. Dancers love this fun mix of gymnastics and dance.
Looking to improve your tumbling skills or maybe you have never tumbles before that's ok because in our open tumbling class we take people of all tumbling levels and works with each child where they are at. In this class you will not only get a chance to learn new tricks or improve on what you already have but you will also work on building up the muscles you will need in order to move on to harder skills!
Flowy movement with emotion and energy while exploring new and creative movement. This class can be described as a mix between ballet and jazz. Student improv and choreography is usually part of these classes as well. Ballet is recommended when taking Contemporary and is required for upper level classes.
Attitude, rhythm, coordination and personal style all rolled into one! This high energy dance form is fun and challenging for students of all ages. In class dancers learn to find their own personal groove as well as discovering the importance of strong teamwork.
Tap dance teaches musicality and rhythm as well as precision and performance qualities. We develop the clarity of the sound as well as the whole body performer of the dancer. Learn classical tap steps and the more modern rhythm-tap groove.
High energy and upbeat. Jazz technique includes isolation, turns, leaps and progressing combinations. Dancers develop skills to perform sharp movements and percision. Ballet is recommended when taking jazz and is required for upper level classes.
